Thats because they are Bridgelux LED's from China. They are over rated to compete with the specs of Cree and Luxion. I have been running cree blues at 110% of their current drive and still are working awesome a year later. Of course this shortens their lifespan.

What I would do for what your are planning would be:

4x 3ft 50% blue 50% royal blue and run them at 980mA current.

and if you want UV, you will need to order the LED's else where. pm me and I can give you some sources. but these will need to be on a separate line of 2x 3ft heatsinks. Also a UV strip will cost you more than the accent ones will.

the goal spectrum for UV light you will want is 365nm-400nm. And UV led's cover about a 5nm spread so there will be several types of UV led's that will need to be ordered.
