I say push back hard. It's not our error.
I talked with Aliexpress already, he has the proof that the delivery was made, and the items were correct.

We ordered the 30w drivers and that's what he sent. There is no 30w 3W LED driver, look at the site. It should of been the 36W. I feel horrible about this and I am not sure what else I can do, but it doesn't look like we are going to be able to fix this.

We all know the shipping charges were outrageous, but even with that it was still a deal.

I am just not sure what to do at this point anymore.

72 bow front. 2.25" apart for white and blues as well. I will add another 18 (9white and 9 blue) to see how it goes. I prefer to add another 18 white, but I only have 11 left. Also, I notice I need to add two addition fans. It is running very warm with two 230mm fans on it right now.

I fired up my LED and it is over the tank. I got to say, I'm not too impress with it at the moment. I got 18 white (9 10k and 9 20k), 18 Royal Blue, and 18 Blue, there seem to be a lot of shadow especially toward the front of the tank and it is darker than my metal halide. They are on at 100%, but still dark.
That's because you have so many blues. By default, they have a lower lumen output. You probably have a lot more PAR than you realize. If you wanted more brightness, you need more whites.

Let me try.

Derek, have you tried running 10 LED's on the 60W driver?
It looks like the tag says a minimum of 12 but the low end of the voltage is 30V. Since the voltage drop of each LED is 3.6V, it seems
like we should be able to drive 10 LEDs with this driver...yes/no?
I wouldn't.

I'm really happy with the blue or royal blue (I don't know what is what, could be that Felix sent us the same ones). However, I'm not too happy with the white, so I'm looking at ordering some CREE XM-L T5 ($6.80/pc), they are a little better than the XP-G ($5.69/pc >= 10pc), but you can over drive it up to 3 Amps. They are $6.80/piece (very pricey), anyone interested? http://www.cutter.com.au/proddetail.php?prod=cut1026 , at 700mA, they produce about 260 Lumen which is comparable to the XP-G but much better than the 180 from Bridgelux. Unlike the Bridgelux, you can underdrive these as well. Or, if anyone interested in buying something else from cutter, let me know because anything over 100 has free shipping. I'm thinking of ordering that much already. You can take a look at the Cree Comparison chart.

Finally got my entire array up and running using an old meanwell driver I had. All the LEDs are only at 50% as the driver wasn't quite right for the number of LEDs I'm using. Pretty happy with everything, would like to run the blues / super blues at 100% while keeping the whites where they are. Hopefully we can get some resolution to the 30W driver issue as I'd love to be able to control each channel independently as I had originally planned.

Here are some pictures:

I would think you would be much better off just adding more Bridgelux white LEDs. Your price/lumen is 0.007 with a Bridgelux vs 0.026 for the Crees, plus if you overdrive them you will most likely shorten their usable life. You could add three Bridgelux whites for each CREE and have a total of 540 lumens vs some 300 lumens on an overdriven Cree.

At the moment, I don't have enough white. Anyone want to trade 20-25k Kelvin white for blue or royal blue? I have 20RB and 20Blue I was planning for something else, but that might have to wait.

I'll trade my cool whites for an equal number of blues. I should have 10.
I would love to trade with you, but I lived in Denver you in the Spring. If you ever have a chance to come up here. Let me know. I used to go down there for a project, but I'm done with that now and haven't gone for a long time.

Ok so after trying every option we have, it doesn't look like we are going to be able to replace the 30W with the 36W drivers. Felix sent us exactly what we ordered. Crit21 and I will make things right and order the right ones at no charge to the people who don't want the 30W drivers we already received. The correct drivers are the 36W (FLL-DD36W).

What this means is we will be placing another order. For those who needed extra's, or want different colors. For anyone who wants to take advantage of this order, you have until Friday, April 1st to let me know what you want. We would like to get those who ordered the 30w the correct drivers as soon as possible, so there is not much time for this order.
