Thanks man, been a long fight but I finally feel like I'm winning. Corals are growing like weeds so hopefully soon it won't look like a frag garden ;o)

Added a frag rack to my fuge! figured I would update, looked at my stock list & can't believe I have 47 different types of coral and plenty of room for goodies from the upcoming DBTC!

So I thought I would update my equipment list.
Tank: 90 gallon tall (48x15x30)
Fuge: Converted 55 gallon with 3 chambers and frag rack
Lighting: Chinese 6 bulb t5 (ATI 54w x6) on dt
120w EVO 20k LED on fuge
Skimmer: Aqua Medic Turboflotor 1000 Multi SLReturn pump: Quietone 3000
Little fishes GFO reactor

I had an upflow turf scrubber but got tired of the mess, the bulb changes every 3 months, the space it took up in my sump and the added cost of running lights and air pump. I now Vodka dose instead.

Do you still have your ATS?
Yeah I still have the turf scrubber, I don't throw fish stuff away very often.

I'm terrible at touching up pics, but these are as close as I can get to true color :)

So I decided to get my frags out of my dirty refugium. Decided to use the 28g jbj Nano I have had laying around as a frag tank. First I had to drill it, then I removed the false back wall. After a bit of hit and miss I added a durso to quiet down the flow, and built a frag rack. Still waiting on my loc-line parts to show up for the return. And now for some pics![attachment=64576:name]

Still having some problems keeping the water lever constant (varies by about 1/2 inch). moving the breather tube effects it as does any bit of debris, perhaps I need to drill more holes.

This morning it overflowed on me, have made some modifications but not really in a trusting mood if you know what I mean. One big difference I notice is having the LED's (even 1w 1st gens like these) next to my 6 bulb t5 set up is the difference in color and intensity... man those LED's look bright and crisp!

Looking back at pictures from one year ago, and comparing them to ones I took today. I guess just because you don't think they are growing, doesn't mean they are not...

Your coral will take a bit of time to get used to the new light. Bahamike told me to give it 3 months and then expect good growth. Be careful, do yours have lenses? Mine are capable of huge par numbers. I have the whites at around 60% or less. Stability is still king whennit comes to growth!
