Nice. Those don't look water proof at all so I wouldn't go putting them in water until you can find out for sure.

that looks like an ABS enclosure(I can't confirm via pic, you'd have to verify), you could get ABS solvent to melt the casing together. I don't know if you'd want to DIY waterproof it, I sure wouldn't trust my skills. You could always drain the tank and take par mearsurements.

How do these compare to the Apogee meters? Seneye? What's the difference between the LED and nonLED versions? Where'd you get them? Cost?

Re: new toys

well lets besides the cost of the ampogee at 389 thats what I purchased both for. the range of the ampogee is 0 to 2999 lux the amprobe led tester range is range 0 to 200000, my understanding is the amprobe which is the led tester is better for testing just that LEDs don't know if it was just a sake pitch or not but worked on me lol. the other is a extech 0 to 400000 can test all light types but you can also connect to computer via usb. I boggy this one for my job and figured if get the led on sense my work was paying.
IDK I guess ill have to find a long tube like plastic bag or something to submerge it will see
