PBTA question

I would make a post at Wet Web Media with your picture. The mouth on that anemone looks funny to me. Not sure if it's majano especially if it gets bigger in size like a bta. Majanos split like mad and if you don't keep them in check, your tank will overrun. Better safe than sorry.

Well the one in my tank is on the same rock it came on, so if it continues to split I can remove the rock easily. I can also scrape the anemone off the rock if I need to. Here is another picture of the split with a better picture of the mouth.

Almost everyone I talked to said it looks like a BTA. This is especially true if you looked at the original photos and the photos a few days after the split. The photos taken the day of the split have more of a bubble in the tips that would signify Majano. This was probably caused by the stress of the split.

well like I said I am happy to keep it if it's a BTA. Mine has been fine. It's getting greener lol but still looks like a BTA so far. Guess it would be a few weeks or so to let it get larger to know for sure
