Tis the season for spending more money then you anticipated... Officially have a custom 72" sump similar to the CL-60 from Synergy Reef ( Thanks Vanessa and Rick) on order with a delivery set for January.
Added several drains for an additional display fuge and frag tank and some additional bells and whistles.

Update:
I received all my quotes for this tank. Which includes Display tank, Steel Stand, Stand Skin, and canopy.
These are all the vendors I looked at not in any specific order:
1) Crystal Dynamics ( formally LeeMar)
2) Miracles
3)Planet Aquariums
4)CTC
5)A.G.E.
6)Reef Savvy
7)Custom Aquarium
After reviewing all aspects; lead time, cost, quality, experience, customer service, etc. I am 90% certain I am going with Crystal Dynamics ( CDA ) in Oceanside CA for this build. They also built my last custom 260 when I lived in Flagstaff.

Reinforced bottom with perimeter brace and Starboard insert
Reinforced vertical seams
Overlapping double top brace
External overflow: Modular Marine 36"
(2) 1" returns in top corners of the glass
Black silicone and Blacked out overflow end
72x48x42 steel stand Epoxy coated with extra steel bar for bar lip, (8) stainless steel leveling feet
6x48x66 3/4" steel tube extension fixture (for mounting the panels that will hide the plumbing)
Wood skin -- magnet mounted modern (rectangular) panels, maple -- for stand, extension part, and canopy panels with bar lip
Stainless steel brace and fixture on top of tank for lights and mounting removable canopy panels
The real question is how on earth am I going to get it into the basement. I will have french doors so the entry will be fine. I have a 50" opening on my side gate with a slight grass hill to deal with. The reason I bring this up is looking for opinions on if it is worth getting an installation quote from someone? If so who? I am new to CO so I don't have 7-8 people that know about fish tanks that would help me move it with the same fear of the glass being scratched or even touched for that matter. Also getting an installation quote really is so I can get the right tools for the right job. Opinions on the matter?

Having a similar tank size, I would lean towards having the professionals move it into your home and put it on the stand. I had a clear shot from our bus turnaround, it was brought into the school on a pallet jack, and I think 7 club members carried it into the classroom on its side and placed it on the stand that is 40" tall. It was really challenging to get it up high enough to get on the stand without any specialized equipment. I can only imagine how challenging it will be to get it through your gate, up the hill, and through your French doors. I know members would be more than happy to help, but that thing is going to be a beast! We have a lot of sponsors that do tank installs that could handle this.

Decided to add a display refugium to my tank order from CDA. Went with a standard 75 gallon rimless tank with a divider to separate a designated cheato side and a "fancy" algea side to house things like pipefish/seahorses, mandarins, or timid fish before going to the main display. The tank will be plumbed into my main display/sump system in the fish room.

Decided to add a display refugium to my tank order from CDA. Went with a standard 75 gallon rimless tank with a divider to separate a designated cheato side and a "fancy" algea side to house things like pipefish/seahorses, mandarins, or timid fish before going to the main display. The tank will be plumbed into my main display/sump system in the fish room.

Was able to get my hands on two 150 gallon vertical storage bins for the water mixing station. Sometimes you don't realize how big these till you have them on hand.

All of the basement work is being done by ourselves with some help of family members off an on! So that has really been the main focus this month and last month. I do not have a exact side view of my custom one but it is very similar to the CL60 from synergy reef. Here is the side view of the CL60 with the opposite right to left config, mine is left to right:

Framing, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and underground all complete! Here are pictures before drywall gets hung today! The tape on the ground is where the tank will be. Keeping the system in mind. We added two 20mp breakers dedicated to the Tank. We also added both hot and cold water lines to the fish room for: Shop sink, RODI, Washing machine for filter socks. We have tapped into the drain line for all waste water and water change water. Direct ethernet was ran to the fish room for the apex. Floor drain was added to the fish room.
