Ya I tryn to do some form of bubble trap and can't decide on one mt two baffles after Skimmer compartment. I doing plumbing tomorrow after I get done at fire department. Let's see how badly that goes.
Two will work better on cutting down on micro bubbles.

Well this build sure is going a lot slower than I had hoped. I couldn't put third baffle in because it would leave no room for my ato. Crossing my fingers hope to get plumbing done tomorrow hint hint rocky pride lol

You did put in three! One question, can you get that bulkhead in still? The one that goes to the return pump? Looks a little tight from the pic.

I'll see about some free time, school is killing me.

Got 3-250metal halides. Hope they don't heat up the tank to much. I never used halides before. Any input. It open canopy and plan on a clip on fan or something

Open canopy or none would be better. I had 2x250w over my 55 and it was plumbed through the wall into another big open roi. And was using a stock yank for a sump I would hit 81 during the winter

I got a closed canopy with 3 250s and my heaters work to get it to 80 make sure you use fans that's all

Just use fans and you should be good. However I know of a chiller for sale cheep that was on a 150 if you are in need of one.

Might have to get a chiller but with top being open I will try the fans first. Do they need to be big fans or will computer fans work. I want it as pleasing to eye as possible
