I also removed all my caulerpa from the system, figured this was one of the reasons I struggled with SPS coloring.

Do you think this is true of all macro or just caulerpa?

I believe it to just be caulerpa. I have read various articles and threads stating how noxious it is, never really read much about other macros. I honestly noticed a color difference a week after removing it from my system. Not a huge difference but definitely one nonetheless.

The only thing I can teach you is this:

Keep everything perfect and dont even attempt to look at your SPS funny or they get mad and you spend the next six months coddling them in hopes they get back to their former glory.

Quick video I put together, sorry for the crappy camera work, it was mostly shot on my phone.. I hope to get a gopro this year sometime.

This is like anyone's dream tank.. The amount of work you put into it as well is incredible. Great work man! I'm jealous you can stand keeping all of the system in close-to-perfect order.

I'm suuuuper jealous.

Thanks all! I am really pleased with it right now. I have some new frags that I am looking forward to growing in and my next goal is to get the free reef space covered in coral (mostly encrusters at this point). Then it will be breakdown time! We are planning on moving the end of September...

Well tank is doing great!! Pretty stoked for my new fish. Here is my new Multicolor Cleaner Wrasse:

He just started coming out today, put em in the tank a couple of days ago. Really really bad aggression from my China wrasse who was relentlessly chasing him around. He would come out during feeding though. Little guy is eating Mysis aggressively which is a great sign. I sure hope he makes it for the long haul, cleaners are so hit and miss, especially the colorful ones! Not much aggression from my China Wrasse today which is encouraging.
