Ok so I am ready to put fish in my daughters 28 Gallon Nano cube-

Looking for some ideas. All she said is she wants nice, pretty fish.

Tell me what your favorite non-aggressive reef safe fish is.

Start with the less-aggressive damsels. They're pretty, cheap, stay small and help to establish the nitrogen cycle in smaller tanks.

I have a Coral Beauty in mine, which I love! She has been reef safe so far. I had a darth maul that disappeared two days after I got it, but I can't prove it was her. ;) I have a completely full frag rack that has done great for months without an issue. I also have a spotted mandarin which is gorgeous. You have to either have a very established tank, refugium or dose pods so you can keep a pod population in tact. I put a good amount of red (dragon's breath?) macro algae in the tank. I like the look and it stays fairly infested with pods (just check at night). I have a pair of clowns, black and true perc. Anyhow, lots of options for beautiful fish. I think you're daughter would be fascinated with any of them...ESPECIALLY if you could get clowns that host a coral.
