I'm not saying you're wrong just that everything I've read about nems like sebae or btas says a translucent neon color indicates the loss of zooxanthellae. This comes from people far smarter and far more knowledgable than me. I've had clones that were neon colored but they quickly regain zooxanthellae and mirror the parent.

i guess it is fair to say that some GBTA's and RBTA's could turn a lighter color when unhealthy ...i also believe neon's are different from regular reds or greens ...but i have been wrong before ...once ....lol
