Looking real nice, have you thought about making a hole in the drywall right behind your light and fishing your wire down behind the sump. That would give a nice clean look with what you have going on.

Looks awesome, Martin. ? for you, are you going to have enough room on the right, where the rock comes near the glass, to get a magnet to pass back and forth for glass cleaning?

Got water in it and skimmer running but my return pump is to big the overflow sounds like Hoover dam with the flood gates open!

Well after much consideration I tor down the over flow and started over.

So you can see this had an elbow only and was a mistake as the water gurgled.


So I went to the local feed store and got some feed grade plumbing parts and a new bulkhead. This is how it came out.


I also wanted the control the air going in so I drill a threaded cap.
