I was thinking of filling it, then checking for level, emptying and then repeat. Is this the process?

No no no the right process is.. Think you will fill the tank, flood the apartment, fill it up some more, check the level, emptying and then repeat..... It's only time before I hear can you order some more salt because I don't have enough.. :)

I like the peninsula better. It'll mean keeping 3 sides of the tank clean, but talk about a great room divider!

The wife thinks it'll be too much of a divider. But it would be really cool. Just need to remove a corner overflow.

Also gives us more options for furniture. We want to get a new couch, maybe a sectional.

It looks tight now because the other tank is there. Once the other tank is gone, it'd be perfect. And awesome for a sectional.

+ Lots, this looks the best IMO. It breaks that area more into another room, and gives 2 rooms a tank view. Awesomeness.

I think the one with the couch against it looks better. It makes the room spacier and less furniture cluttered with the couch crunched next to the chairs.

Can you move the 120G 1 foot down? LOL. That way it is more in the room and there isn't a traffic bottleneck right where the new tank/couch would be.

Thanks! The 120 is going when the new tank goes up. That's what's making this hard. Can not really move the furniture till all is done.

Would cutting out an overflow be enough for that tank?
