Just got these stringy things growing across my sand bed. ID please?

+1 had them in my 55 a while back. just scooped them out with my net and tossed them. Read that they really only eat detrtus as they catch it, but they multiplied about as fast as my majano did lol.

There not alive creatures roaming around. It's like one web that covers my sand bed all the way across the tank. It looks like black snot. Lol

Yea i agree cyano, do a big water change and suck up all you can! Do you feed "fuel"?

Cyano on that closeup. Check for deadspots, lighting, & Phosphates.

I started getting some when I started using Seachem Fuel too. I'm stopping the Fuel and checking/controlling Phosphates before I start again. I have two MP10's on opposite ends of the tank plus the return pump has two outlets, so I think movement is fine, no deadspots except behind the rock.

Theres your culperate, used that stuff for a week and threw it in the trash. Its real good for the coral, dont get me wrong, but for some reason some of us have extreme issues with cyano when using it, others have not had this problem.

I've got Marine Snow on order. Gonna try that, but might be same results. I'll have to report back.

Oh yeah. Been dosing brightwell aquatics restore also once a week. This is my first week using it, might have to stop using it and by a cuc and a conch.

Yea i use fuel and i see a little once and awhile but i have a large fuge and i dose maybe 10% their suggested dose. I have read ALOT of reviews saying cyano got out of control
