If you have no corals, you might as well play around with what you think looks good. I only have like 4 corals on the system that I've had these lights on for less than a month, and I'm already up to like 70% haha.

Let's say your running at 80 90 90 If you put a coral in you may start it low and some what shaded than slowly keep moving it into the light each week so you don't bleach it. These ai's are really powerful do be patient and go slow. I peak mine at 70 80 80 it's plenty of light for sps and only run them for 2 hrs than bring them back down 10% each hr. I can write my schedule if you'd like.

Well checked par levels last night and come to find out Ive been chasing the wronf issue in my sps tank for the past several months. Water couldnt be better and turns out I'm blasting coral with light. Got 690 middle of tank where most of the sps are. Thats only 60% white 70% blue and 70% royal blue. SO I cut it back to 30% white 50% on both blues and that gave me 340 at middle of the tank where all the sps are. We will see what happens overthe next few weeks. Even my 90 I was shocked to see 450 at middle of tank and thats all LPS and softies. Cut that back to 290 so well see if I can regain colors back in all my coral. Nothing is really bleached except my sps / monti's / ricordias. They didnt loose theri color just stopped showing PE and faded a little bit. Ive been dosing fuel and amino acids so hopefully with the right par levels I should start seeing excellent growth.

Just off the top of my head I thought I read that there were only 10 timers? How are you setting this beyond the 10?

Ah, there you go, my mistake :). I'll have to decipher the above settings to see what I can come up with best for my tank. I'm a HUGE noob when it comes to my LED's still and didn't really know it could get that specific.

Have any of you gone to the 70 degree optics, I've been measuring par alot lately and get spots that are higher/lower and it's pretty up and down. I'd like to know if 70's really make a big difference. I've got this 10" off the water and don't want to go higher as ill start shinning light outside the tank.

I did Brian as well, only on my front row of 4 to spread the light on the reef face. I just bought a PAR meter so I haven't tested the difference and it is tough to tell from the naked eye that it helped. In theory, I get better coverage which is what I was looking for.
