Got the doors ready to glue tonight.

Maybe I'll go back out after the 2 year old is I bed as glue them up so I can sand and paint tomorrow. Couple coats of primer, then paint the stand and doors black. Should be able to do a coat Thursday night, then another 1-2 on Friday since I'm off. Hope to move in on Saturday.

Tank in place and filled.

Sand storm.

Water is clearing now. Got a big rock from Elite. Not sure if I'm gonna break it up or not. I'll get a pic of the rocks in the morning when the water is clear.

...

So cool when it's cloudy like that and you're just dying to see in there. Like opening a gift on Christmas. KUP

Here's how it currently looks.

Still playing with coral placement. Also picked up a few fish from ambrosia.

I know they don't normally recommend two of these fish in a tank this small, but they were in a 10 gallon tank for about 2 weeks at ambrosia's place. They are also going to be in my 10 gallon QT for a couple weeks to make sure they are still getting along.

I'll post pics after I pick up my corals from Wicked, hopefully on Wednesday.

Got up to take the mother-in-law and sister-in-law to the airport and the HOB on the QT wasn't running. MIL said it stopped sometime in the night. Luckily this was at 4am. Got it running again, the impeller had stuck. Actually took about 3 minutes to get it spinning again. Going to watch it today. Hope it keeps working as I don't really want to add the angels to the main tank yet.

On a good note, the angels are playing nice. They seem to be getting along real well. they were even swimming right by eachother with no issues.

Redid the scape a little last night. Had to break the rock I bought from Elite as it was just too big.

Let me know what you guys think.

Any inputs on the rock scape?

Don't really have many dead spots except for some of the spots under the rock ledges. I hope to add an arch or something on the top. Just to give a bit more height and some more visual impact.

I like your rock scape makes me want to change mine.

I like it, not too chunky or too light looking. If I had it to do over again with my 90 (or WHEN I do, lol), I will likely build some supports underneath to keep any sand sifters from toppling stuff. Your setup is coming along nicely

Thanks guys. I'm liking it too. Going to get some corals from Aaron, hopefully Friday.

I'm also thinking about dosing Kalk in my top off water. I know you're supposed to do like a teaspoon per gallon, but what should I start with. I'm also doing my top offs manually every night. Maybe 2 cups max.

Talked to ambrosiozoa and he confirmed that with the angels being in a QT for about 3 weeks, they would have shown signs of any infection by now. With that, I added them to the tank last night.

They are still getting along great. For the first little bit they were hanging out rght by each other, kinda like twins who were just thrown into a daycare class. They even slept almost right by eachother. Everyone is getting along great. I'll keep my eye on them but don't think it'll be an issue. Hoping to pick up some corals tomorrow.

Man I really like those angels, but I am to worried about them nipping at my corals. My favorite is the Lemon peel half black.

Just picked up my frags from Aaron. I'll post pics probably tomorrow after they've all opened up.

Not even 5 minutes after being put in the tank.

There are 5 polyps on this frag alone. Got 9 frags and a double head hammer that's trying to start like 7-8 more heads. I'll be going back to Aaron when I'm ready for more.

I was hoping it wasn't going to happen, but it is. The red stripe angel is nipping at my corals. He's really going after my acan, and occasionally the zoas. The bicolor seems to be fine. How do I go about catching this guy without tearing my tank apart? I can at least put him in my QT until I sell or trade him.
