Question for Korallia owners? Variable Speed?

Hey all! Was hoping to pick your brains for a sec...if any users of the Korallia powerheads are out there, I would love to hear from you...

I am running a 40 breeder with two modded Maxijet 400s. They have the mod on them, which basicly turns them into a small stream pump--like a koralloa or a tunze....
I hope I am describing this adequately...
Anyway...I am getting ready to replace these and wanted some better control than just the on/off...

Do the Korallia pumps allow for variable speed? Or any other products? Cheap...products? :)

Any tips much appreciated!
Thanks
Dave

No they do not. Variable speed is expensive lol

Korallia does make a variable speed. You can run power heads specifically made to operate using their proprietary controller. I have two controllers that run two power heads each. I like them but wish I could afford mp40s.

Are you talking wave makers meaning off and on or actual variable speed low flow - high flow control?

Hey guys, thanks for the responses!
Yes, I am looking for variable speed...wavemaking is nice, but in such a small tank I am doing well with just shooting both powerheads at the front glass and the turbulence gets it done...but...
It's just a little too much....would love to have finer control over it.
Rockys_Pride are you talking about Apine Koi in Fort Collins, out on Mulberry?

Wow...thanks Drew!
Hmm....this is illuminating. So...these pumps use a special power cable? IE, to run them I HAVE to buy their 200-plus dollar controller? I was hoping to use a simple dimmer switch. :-(
Or would a dimmer switch on a regular 12v power supply work to control pump speed?
Ultimately I want to control all this stuff with an Apex, but that's not in the budget at the moment.
Has anyone set this kind of thing up before?
Thanks!

I have two separate 2 pump sets. I really like them. They are variable speed but and can create a wave but not like the mp40s, 60s ect. You have to use their propriety cables and switches. You can't run a dimmer switch on the reg ones. Also, the pumps are specifically made for the controller. Aka you can't use your standard heads with the controller. Little spendy but better than turbulence.
